COLLABORATIVE PROJECT: WRITING TASK

ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP IS AT THE HEART OF EVERYTHING WE DO!

We have been in Indonesia, what an amazing and beautiful city!

The weather has been very good, tropical and cool.

The internship program called Caring for the Environment of Agrochemicals in Indonesia or CEAI for its acronym CEBAI internship is a unique experience that offers university students an unrivaled insight into the future of environmental science and conservation, helping them to start their careers.

With this program we want to raise awareness among people who work in crops, so that they know in depth all the problems that agrochemicals produce and at the same time invite them to use organic products in their crops or in their productions.

We have visited the agricultural places in Indonesia and did a field investigation of the area, seeing the high consumption of agrochemicals, we have decided to create proposals so that these agrochemicals are substituted and do not affect the fertility of the soil or at least reduce it. The agrochemicals were replaced by organic fertilizers and in this way avoid the use of pesticides and insecticides since these affect the fertility of the soil as well as causing respiratory diseases and any other type for the human being.

Before we go, we are going to have a barbacoa. 

In this place there are streets full of trash so we are going to tour the territory and collect trash that we find on the way. 

We are going to organize campaigns to raise money and reforest green areas in Indonesia.

Doing something to help the environment is very satisfying in these times at least for me, it is a really rewarding experience to be able to help and, no matter how minimal the help, it represents something very great that others may see as an example and together we can do more like society.

For me it’s really important to preserve nature and do actions that generate real change. Even though we were only visiting there, we have to take care of the environment.

In my opinion this was an amazing experience, because the weather in Indonesia was perfect, I would like to go back and continue preserve nature.

I believe that the agrochemical problem is not only located in specific areas, it is already an environmental problem around the world and as we did the sampling of this place, more people should join this cause and help reduce the environmental problem.

For me, nature is very important and that is why I would recommend using natural fertilizers and avoiding using pesticides and insecticides, since avoiding using these chemicals would make the land more fertile.

ZAIRA.

For me it was an incredible experience because thanks to this we are making the problem decrease, it is very important that these types of problems are treated since pollution grows every day.
